Its easy to stay attuned to our busy lives. Each day is filled with tasks, technology and not enough time. Time is only finitely available to us. If the average life span is 75 years, then that is only…

27,394 days
or
657,456 hours

(accounting for 19 leap years,
and a total of 39,447,360 minutes)

What memories have you made with the days and hours you have already spent? How many more will you make with the rest of your days and hours? How many have you lost?

We don’t live forever and we don’t get do overs in this life. There are moments I wish I could do over. There are days and hours I have lost because I was not spending them with my family making memories.

I know what your thinking. I have to work too. And that is why we must make the most of the time we do have. My wife’s favorite two words seem to be priorities and memories. And she’s right.

Once we’re gone, the memories we have made are what others keep with them. When we are having a tough time, memories help us balance out the bad with the good. Memories are what keep us going.

Especially during this time of year, go out and make some memories. You’ll be glad you did.
